1、 Overview

The DLS-100 flash velocimeter (hereinafter referred to as the "instrument") uses adjustable LED strobe lights to display the movement of mechanical components, with a strobe range of 30 times per minute (FPM) to 120000 times per minute (FPM).
When using this instrument to observe objects that rotate or move at high speeds, by adjusting the flashing frequency of the LED light to be close to or synchronized with the rotation or motion speed of the object being measured, although the object is moving at high speed, it appears to be slowly moving or stationary, thus detecting the rotation speed of the object or the surface quality or operating condition of the high-speed moving object.
2、 Instrument usage method
Turn on the power switch on the back panel of the instrument, and the LCD screen will display the initial parameters or the parameters from the last shutdown. At this time, the instrument will display [OFF] in the upper left corner of the standby mode screen.
Press the [ON/OFF] switch button, and the instrument LED light group will start working. At this time, the [ON] working status is displayed in the upper left corner of the screen.
There are four ways to adjust the strobe speed (FPM) or frequency (Hz):
1. Click the [+] [-] button to make precise adjustments.
2. Long press the [+] [-] button to quickly adjust.
3. Use the digital wheel to adjust flexibly and freely.
4. Click the [x2] [÷ 2] button to adjust the multiplier.
When not in use, simply press the power switch on the back panel of the instrument to turn it off.
3、 Parameter settings
In the [ON] working state, press the [SET] setting button to enter the parameter setting state, and [SET] will be displayed in the upper left corner of the screen.
Press the [+] [-] keys to adjust various parameters, then press the [SET] setting key to change the parameters in sequence until exiting the setting state, or press the [ON/OFF] key to directly exit the setting state.
There are four parameters that can be set:
1. Unit: --- FPM Setting unit: strobe speed (FPM) or frequency (Hz), initially set to FPM
2， Ftim： 10. Set Flash Time: 1-10 adjustable, with an initial value of 10
3， LCD%： 80 setting LCD backlight brightness: (0-100%) adjustable in 10 levels, starting at 80%
4. Init: [P+] Restore factory settings: Press the [+] key
4、 Precautions
1. Please do not use heavy objects to strike or squeeze the instrument by gravity
2. Please do not place the instrument in a damp place
3. Please do not place the instrument in an environment with a temperature above 55 degrees Celsius
4. Please do not place the instrument in areas with excessive acid or salt mist
5. Please do not use chargers that are not compatible with the instrument for charging
